Griffin & Company, Incorporated began operations in 1941 as a sheet metal job shop specializing in heating, ventilating, dust control and air conditioning.  Griffin began designing and fabricating more specialized processing equipment, leading to the attainment of several patents.  Through acquisitions of companies such as Newcomb Enterprises and Cardwell Europe, an emphasis has been placed on total systems integration as we provide all necessary equipment and systems needed to fully automate a facility in today's fast-paced world!

Griffin Cardwell Ltd. was initially founded as Cardwell UK Ltd. in 1954 in England by The Cardwell Machine Company of Richmond Virginia, itself in existence since 1829. This enhanced the engineering, manufacturing capabilities of the group and extended the market reach worldwide. Acquired by Griffin & Company, Inc. in 2001, and renamed Griffin Cardwell, its capabilities were further expanded through complementary product lines. Today, the company offers a full-range of processing, dust collection and odor control equipment for the food and tobacco industries.
